Hard times are weird. We don't ask for hard times. We can't control when they show up, how hard they are or how long they stay. They can feel like a house guest that doesn't leave. But what we can do is give them permission to teach us something incredible.
I have been signing a lot of permission slips lately as the school year is just starting and I love what a permission slip does. It gives someone permission to GO, to DO, to SEE something.
