I have been criticized, mostly by my long time-lover, for not resting more. At the heart of it, rest is primarily about physical and mental recovery. If done well, rest allows us to restore our energy, reduce stress and improve our ability to concentrate.
My [current] truth is that I rest best when moving.
Movement is like medication.
Movement quiets my mania and hyperactivity (momentarily).
Movement contents me.
Movement gets me away from a screen and work.
Movement encourages me.
Movement is my favorite kind of self-love.
